I LOVED it! It feels like talking to a friend...the thread of following your thoughts, and the description of being in the coffee shop. It’s inspired me to write more descriptions. To notice and document the people across from me, the upholstery, the world around. Words becoming senses.
And aside from the writing, I so deeply appreciate the reminder of the ebb and flow of Self. Of coming back to a thing we know with fresh eyes; a new relationship to a part of ourselves.
Thanks Robin! Really appreciate your feedback and kind words. That is so true about coming back to a thing we know with fresh eyes. I have a lot to share about that, but was running out of time and word count, so will revisit in another post. But it sure feels like I've come full circle in many ways, and I have nothing but gratitude for this chapter.
4. You forgot to mention more positive opinions :-). I prefer strong coffee with milk or oat milk. Depends on the day. How long was your metro ride to that place? Cathérine.
5. please 😉 I loved this too. I've wanted to start writing on my Substack for a while now but with pregnancy and a newborn I've had to leave it until I've got a bit more time. But it's always delightful to read what other people write who are starting out on here! I will definitely keep reading ✨

6 or better 7.. it was a nice and fun read! Good you enjoy working on the 'boring' project :D
Thanks Sophia. The waitress who served me finally saw the pigeon doing the rounds and shooed it out.

Metro ride is 30 minutes. Then 30 minutes on the train. :)

Thanks, Kim, and thanks for always reading along. Congratulations on your pregnancy and newborn! That's very exciting for you and your family.
Thank you! Its a wild and wonderful time ✨
I love that description, Kym. Could be the title of a piece of writing or a book!
You're right! Will note it down 😁
4 and 7😘. I always love reading your posts, I just have a small beef with the substack app. Probably just me, but there are so many glitches and bugs.
Aww, thanks Charlotta! I personally like to read Substack via the browser rather than the app myself. :)
