I love this Rhonda! Writing is so lovely and such a wonderful way of capturing things to remember them and appreciate them! Do you think vlogging is still different than photography? Or in photography do we sometimes miss the moments too? I'm wanting to balance out my two memory keeping tools (writing and taking photos).
Thank you, Kym! I was thinking about this myself. I'm always taking photos, and I do think that sometimes I miss the moment because I'm too buys taking photos. But I also think this can be minimised by just quickly taking a shot and then re-entering the moment. The thing with videos, I found, is that you have to hold the camera for quite some time, which removes you from the moment for an extended period of time. I wonder if that makes sense? It did in my own head. :)

Yes that totally makes sense! And we need to trust ourselves that we got the shot we wanted and then move on, rather than overshooting 🙈
So true, Kym. I’m still learning to get better at that myself!
Yaay, more to read when you write! Hope to 'keep track' of you in substack :)
Thanks Sophia. Hope you and the family are keeping well.
